The Podcast Fellowship is a program where each week the fellows listen to a podcast about a meaningful Jewish topic and discuss it either 1:1 with their mentor or in a small group. It's a program that originates from NYU and this is the first semester that we're adding it to our Emory lineup.
Last night, four of Podcast Fellows had a chance to share their podcast insights in a Zoom Torah Slam, where they had an evening of Jewish Learning and inspiration and got to present their favorite insights from their weekly podcast.
The program kicked off from a meaningful introduction about Lech Lecha from our very own Rabbi Fleshel before fellows Rori Spielman, Dina Sokol, Emily Kastenberg and Issi Young went off to breakout groups to share their insights.
In the groups, Rori did an incredible job leading her group's discussion and talking about Saul Blinkoff's "My Disney Tale," Dina presented on "The Power of Women" by Nili Couzens and Emily and Issi both presented different talks by Charlie Harrary.
The program went so well and it was an incredible chance for the students to connect with other fellows from different campuses and share their Jewish knowledge!
